Watercolor

Humans, including another rider, etc. are an additional $100 to $300 when added to the portrait of a horse or dog.  Human portraits without animals are double the cost of the above-quoted prices and only available in pencil (graphite).

A full or partial background is an additional $25 to $200 depending on the level of detail.  (Note:  It takes much longer for the artist to do human portraits as well as to put in a full or partial background.)

Note cards of commissioned work are available to clients at a

discounted price of $3.00 each (including envelopes).

PLEASE NOTE: My prices are based upon the quality and pricing of commissions done by other equine artists, both amateurs and professionals.  I am on the medium to low end of the scale for commissioned work.  My prices also include my costs to have the commission scanned for cards and/or prints.

PLEASE be sure you have received a confirmation from me either via phone or via e-mail that I am available to do a commission for you before sending me any photos.  Please keep in mind that it often takes me from 2 weeks to 3 months to complete a commission due to my working full-time.
